| Presbyopia (Visual tiredness for seeing close objects) is a condition common to people over 40´s, who can see distant objects normally but have blurred nearsightedness. |

| There are different methods used to correct Presbyopia: |

| 1- Optical correction: Using glasses or contact lenses. |
| 2- Surgical correction: Using refractive or phacorefractive surgery, one of which is called Monovision. |

| Monovision is a method for correcting presbyopia by means of surgery, providing the patient with alternate vision by taking full advantage of a natural phenomenon that occurs with our eyesight, and in this way improve the patient´s quality of life. |
