¿What care should I take after the surgery? • Apply the medication formulated by the doctor, paying special attention to maintaining the eye lubricated (artificial tears).   • Avoid contact sports such as football, basketball, karate, etc for the first two months after the surgery.   • Avoid swimming pools, lakes, streams, the sea, saunas and turkish baths during the first month afer the surgery or until your ophthalmologist should so indicate. • Use sunglasses with ultraviolet protection to shield your eyes from sunlight especially during the first month.   Back
